Membership in the Association is open for all, larger (contact us for admission criteria) European private or public organizations active on the demand side of IT. The Association is independant of any external funding and is only financed by members' contribution.

The Association features two categories of members:

1. National CIO Associations
These are national CIO organizations with their own legal structure and governance, independant from the Association. Each National CIO Association, aka National Body, is represented by a Director in the Board of the Association

2. Direct Members
Direct members are exclusively CIOs or european companies that meet admission criterias. Membership can be acquired intuitu personae or at company level. Direct Members are also represented at the Board of the Association
