Over the past eight years the EuroCIO annual conference has become a regular fixture on the agenda of every European CIO. The ninth edition will be held at Hotel Negresco on the French Rivieria, Nice, on Tuesday - Wednesday, 24 - 25 November 2009. The two-day event will bring together the Chief Information Officers from Europe’s leading companies and give them a unique opportunity to work side by side in a stress-free non-competitive environment in order to outline best practices, share common concerns and pinpoint shared views, as well as to put the concrete needs of IT users directly to the major vendors. By CIOs for CIOsWhat makes the EuroCIO annual conference unique is that it is an event tailored by CIOs and for CIOs, with a programme drawn up by a committee made up of the CIOs of some of Europe’s largest companies. The two days in Nice will feature a mixture of plenary sessions, with contributions from top-level keynote speakers, and six fruitful hands-on workshops on topics high on every CIO’s agenda. NetworkingThe conference will also provide ample opportunity for CIOs to socialise with their counterparts from across Europe in an informal atmosphere.
